Connector
Ask your assistant about your operation.
The Canopy connector lets an AI assistant read your Canopy data, so you can ask in plain language, without leaving the conversation: what a zone did overnight, which schedules ran, what a crew logged.
Limited access while we verify it with a small number of growers. Ask to join
Connection address
https://connect.canopy.ag/mcp Only for the connector. It is not where you sign in to Canopy in a browser.
Setup
Three steps, no passwords shared.
-
Add the address
In your assistant, add a connector and paste the Canopy address above.
-
Sign in to Canopy
Your assistant sends you to a Canopy page. You sign in there with the account you already use.
-
Approve what it asks
You see exactly what the assistant is asking to do before you agree. Decline, and nothing is shared.
Your password is never given to the assistant. Canopy signs you in, and the assistant only receives permission to act as you, which you can withdraw.

What it can reach
Your data, as you, within your role.
It can
- Read your own organization's data: zones, schedules, what a crew logged.
- Record work you ask for, such as creating a task or logging labor hours.
- Act as you, within your role. Every change is made under your name.
It cannot
- See another Canopy customer's operation.
- See the internal tools our team uses to run the platform.
- Today the connector does not start or stop irrigation, open or close a valve, or switch a relay. Irrigation runs from the Canopy app, or your own systems with a full-access API key.
Recording work is part of the early-access group too. When assistants can start irrigation runs, they will do it the same way: as you, within your role, with your confirmation.
Control
Turning it off.
Disconnect in your assistant. It takes effect immediately. For anything else, including a request to remove data, write to hello@canopy.ag; see support for what to include.
How the connector fits with the assistant inside Canopy and with API keys: AI, MCP and CLI. Our privacy policy and terms apply to the connector as they do to the rest of Canopy.
